    This minimalistic, contemporary bar stool is a tribute to the sparse nature of much of modern design. The modern barstool is completely made up of sturdy steel that has been finished in pure black. The legs end in silver disc-shaped feet. Comfort is enhanced by the black leatherette seat pad, which attaches directly to the seat with Velcro strips. Assembly is required.

    I’ve only ever seen these in a silver finish, but when I saw the black I immediately had to order a trio to replace my old wooden stools. Very sophisticated and contemporary.

    These Bertoia bar stools look better than the photos and I can’t believe the quality - much higher quality than I expected for the price, and better in both categories than the stools I found in stores. My mother in law wants some for her summer home!

    great experience ordering these Bertoia wire stools. i ordered over the phone and the rep was helpful with my concerns and i got them in just under a week. the assembly instructions were missing from the box and they emailed them to me just 5 minutes after i called them about it.

    Black wire is as elegant looking as black leather. These Bertoia bar stools were the perfect complement to my black leather living room suit. But I can’t take the credit for finding these. My husband actually found them. I told him I wanted contemporary bar stools and he did all the legwork. He did a search for metal bar stools online and came up with a few to choose from, then narrowed it down to this style. He did a good job, didn’t he?
