The sleek and stylish espresso brown bonded leather is pulled taut over high-density foam cushioning and wood framing. When the lid is lifted, you will reveal an efficiently-concealed and generously-sized empty space for storage. This lid is secured to the ottoman?????s base with 3 antiqued brass standard hinges and supported while ajar with two silver-tone safety hinges. Please be aware that, because of the weight of lid as a result of its size, the ottoman is not child safe.

I needed something comfortable to sit on near the window in my apartment, but I didn’t want the usually chair or sofa. The space was wide enough for a sofa, but I didn’t want to block the view of the street because my little girl likes to sit there and watch for her daddy to come home every evening. I looked at many ottomans, this brown leather bench ottoman is perfect. It fits the space, is comfortable enough for her to sit on and it has nice storage for her books and toys.
This bench ottoman/table storage ottoman is so comfortable. I don’t exactly sink into it, but it’s quite soft. I like the leather covering—it’s very supple and the whole unit is put together so well. The storage comes in so handy, too, for the toys that seem to collect in the family room over the course of the day. We’re teaching our three-year old to put away his toys. That isn’t easy but having this new place for him to stow them seems to be helping.
As soon as I saw this unique ottoman online, I said ‘mmmm.’ The top cushion looked well padded, almost like I could sink into it. In reality, it wasn’t quite that plush, but it is quite comfortable. And it looks great in my den. The brown leather is top quality and the lines are simple and neat. I’m so glad I found it.
This bench type ottoman is simply lovely. The color is subtle and the leather covering seems to be a fine quality. It contrasts a bit with the nubby fabric texture of my sofa and recliner, but I guess that is a good thing. I like it, anyway, although I’m certainly no designer. At least that’s what my husband tells me. But he did admit that he likes the ottoman, too, so maybe I’m better at design than I thought.
The lid of this ottoman is not child safe but we’re past the little kid stage so it’s perfect for us. Everything else about it is just great. The frame is sturdy, the leather cover is beautiful and durable, and the storage area is a big plus in our living room that tends to draw clutter. I can hide the mess very quickly when I need to do so and still have a great place for unexpected guests to sit.
