A classical design, this leather ottoman provides a good seating arrangement, especially when matched with an equally well designed coffee table. Though some people might like to refer to this leather ottoman as a hassock, it goes without saying that it is the ultimate in comfort and style.
The ottoman is almost square in size and can be called a bench styled ottoman, since it offers enough space for more than one person. It is also slightly lower in height than the average seating systems, and thus, can be used as a large sized foot stool.

My husband and I don’t argue about a lot of things, especially when it comes to furnishing the house. He leaves it pretty much up to me. But in the case of an ottoman, he was determined that this would be the one we should buy. I resisted but finally decided that if he was that determined, I should agree to compromise. Am I ever glad that I did. He was right. This black leather ottoman looks beautiful in our living room.
For me and this big ottoman, it was love at first sight. It is crafted from really fine leather, in a lovely black color, and nice wood. I meant to use it mainly as a coffee table ottoman, a table in front of the sofa, but find myself sitting on it more and more. It’s just so comfortable. I actually watched an entire crime drama last night without moving because I was so comfortable.
Beautiful ottoman. I was always suspicious of these big pieces that claimed to be as sturdy as table ottomans. I mean, they’re for feet, right? But I did want a nice foot rest so I ordered this lovely storage ottoman black leather piece and after establishing the fact that it was comfortable for that use, I set a half-full wine glass on it. Not only did it sit steady, but I was even able to prop up my feet near it and it still didn’t tip over.
My daughter was running a slight fever the day after I set up my new cocktail tufted ottomans. While I went to get her a fever reducer, she sat on the ottoman to wait. By the time I got back, she was half asleep on the black leather surface. She said it was cool and made her feel better so I got let her nap there. When she woke up, her fever was gone. I’m not saying the ottoman cured her, but it definitely helped her rest. I’m so glad I bought it.
spill proof square ottomans
This is a nice piece that we use both as a coffee table and as an ottoman. It’s got a wonderful black leather cover that so far has proven to be quite spill resistant—proven by my husband and his beer—and the wooden part seems sturdy. We put it in the den so we can put up our feet while we watch television, and it’s very comfortable for that too.
