This is a man’s footstool. The black leather and the square shape isn’t the least bit feminine, which was the last thing I wanted in my bachelor apartment. And it’s a simple storage cube ottoman: none of that tufting or fancy stitching or curvy legs. I can prop my heavy feet on it, even when my shoes are dirty, and it takes the abuse. The leather just wipes clean. And I can straighten my sitting area really fast, just shoveling stuff inside the storage area to hide it.
Futuristic - ottomans contemporary
This little footstool struck me as being a little futuristic…it looks like R2-D2 from the ‘Star Wars’ movies. That style works great for me and has been hard to find. I like clean lines with a futuristic twist and this ottoman gives it to me. But covering it with nice leather grounds it in the contemporary style, too. It’s a great place to rest my feet and store my video games, too.
What a clever little ottoman. I thought it was cute when I saw it online and it really lives up to my expectations. The storage area is pretty large and I really like the tray. It’s deep and wide enough to hold a dinner plate, utensils and a glass of iced tea. And it’s comfortable to hold on the lap on those evenings when I eat dinner in front of the television.
I like to keep things simple, especially in my home décor. No clutter, no fancy fabrics or scrollwork on the wood. This ottoman fits my home perfectly. The black leather is clean and simple and the reversible tray in the top is a great added feature. But it’s the storage that I really appreciate. I can hide a lot of miscellaneous junk inside this ottoman, keeping my living room looking uncluttered.
This is a versatile piece of furniture. It can be a foot stool, a seat, a dinner tray and a storage unit. I’ve had it for a week and have already used it for all those functions. It’s great. Of course the best function is the one that allows my legs to take a break. I sit in my easy chair and prop up my feet and I feel the cares of the day drain out of me. I love this ottoman.
