Leather ottomans with storage or any furniture ottomans are pretty easy to find these days. The trick is to find one that doesn’t look like all the others. This brown leather storage ottoman is truly unusual. Rectangular with an open center it looks like a nice piece of furniture rather than a simple ottoman. The tray tops are convenient to use as table area, but provide comfortable seating when they are in their ottoman position.
My pediatric practice is a busy one and I don’t have a lot of time to shop for furniture. I wanted a storage ottoman with tray to put in the waiting room and this one is working out very well. Magazines get stored in the open shelf and the reversible trays conceal some of the toys at the end of the day. The cushions are soft, the frames sturdy, and the whole thing cleans up easily because of the fine leather.
This is a really different looking ottoman, something like decorative ottomans. The open center is what catches the eye, making this storage bench look more like a table covered in brown leather than an ottoman for the feet or for sitting. Especially when the tops are flipped over to create the tray top. It’s a great place to sit and an even better place to ‘hide’ things, which is what I mainly use it for.
I like this ottoman. It has a nice look and handy storage space, but it has to be kept tidy. I’ll need to buy a few nice looking baskets to put in that open space in order to keep the open area from looking cluttered. But the bench part is comfortable for seating and the brown leather looks like quality stuff. I think this bench will last a good long time…good thing because my son already wants it in his home.
This ottoman has everything—seating, storage, footrest. We parked it in front of our small loveseat—we have a small living room—and it works great for all our needs. I especially like the fact that I have a place to set my evening cup of coffee while my husband can prop up his feet. The ottoman is so sturdy that the movement of his feet does not disturb my cup. Peace at last!
